This ailment will cover the hunter in slime. Movement isn't hindered, but hunters affected by slime suffer a damaging explosion if struck by a monster, or if the slime isn't rid of quickly by rolling a few times. Even blocked attacks can inflict this status. When affected, all blocking attempts will also fail so it is advised to pay attention to the status icons next to the hunter's name. When used against monsters, different colored slime effects will signify how many more hits are needed to trigger an explosion. When the slime explodes, a fixed amount of damage is caused, oftentimes staggering the monster. Of note is that this effect is not affected by Status Attack Up, but instead the Bombardier armor skill. | ||
